Core HR approached us with the need to give their current office environment a refresh and upgrade consistent with their increasing staff numbers. The original space consisted of a large, open-plan layout with small, glazed meeting rooms and a boardroom. Although the space was working for them, it was underutilised and with no teapoint area on this floor, the space was becoming cramped and lacked life.
Calibro worked with Core HR to deliver an office update that suited their needs and style of working. The first change to the space was to replace the lighting, redecorate the walls and install a new carpet. These simple changes helped give the space more life whilst a simpler colour palette on the walls and carpet brought a softer and more meaningful atmosphere to the space.
A new teapoint was created within the open plan office environment to enable staff to have space and flexibility for breakout. A high bench was also added to this space to give staff an additional environment to work in whilst providing more space to eat their meals. A unique flooring pattern was created using a contrast of wood and carpet to help create a soft but visual break between the teapoint and rest of the office.
