CLIENT BRIEF

Creating a modern office space through refurbishment and fitout

SlumberJack are a growing beverage producer based out of Northern Ireland, specialising in coffee roasting and supply. They recently acquired a new roasting and warehouse facility in Antrim with an adjoining office space in need of complete refurbishment and fitout works. By partnering with Calibro, the project was completed efficiently and and on-time and they were able to move into a brand new office facility that would support their future growth..

The large reception area featuring a bespoke coffee station, matt black ceiling and soft furnishings emphasises the brands sleek aesthetic and provides a warm entrance for clients and visitors. A large central open plan office featuring individual workstations provide staff with a well-lit working atmosphere along with storage and print facilities. A 10-person boardroom was also added along with a 2-person meeting room to allow for meetings or conferences to be held in privacy.

A collaboration zone was designed into the space featuring a range of small focus booths and a large collaboration table where staff can work together away from the regular open-plan office. This also features 2 glaze-partitioned private director offices. The canteen space was updated to feature a wide range of breakout furniture for less focussed work and boost connectivity between staff, along with new toilet facilities and a one-of-a-kind specialist coffee testing centre.
