PROJECT CASESTUDY

A revived and inviting new coworking space

Carrickfergus Enterprise, Northern Ireland

CLIENT BRIEF

Carrickfergus Enterprise Centre required a refresh and update to their current coworking offices to create a more pleasant and attractive working environment for tenants. The space featured a number of working rooms, creating dark corridors throughout the and areas lacking natural light. The team at Calibro worked to design an adapted layout that made minimal disruption, keeping the large number of working rooms, yet drawing more natural light to the centre of the building.

A brand new teapoint and seating area was created centrally in the space, allowing easier use for tenants from all areas of the building, and creating a more inviting fist impression for visitors. This features a unique blue colour theme, as does the whole of the space – drawing on the brand palette to create a naturally-lit feeling that is cohesive across the building. The working rooms where also updated with new carpets featuring bright colour combinations and a unique pattern.
