A brand-new coworking space with bold design aesthetic

CLIENT BRIEF

Banbridge Enterprise Centre were looking to make greater use of an unused, tired office space and add a flexible co-working space to their existing building. The space was lacking inspiration and an inviting touch, so an exciting new refresh was required to bring the space to life for current and new tenants.

Calibro maximised the use of the space available, providing a number of different working environments to create maximum flexibility for its tenants. In order to reduce sound transfer, a number of working pods were added centrally to the space, creating an acoustic and visual barrier that makes for a more pleasant working environment. Lockers were also introduced in order to free up desk space and provide tenants with secure storage.

A unique colour palette was chosen to create a dramatic yet warm and inviting working atmosphere. The original ceiling was painted black, along with a feature in burgundy that create a stark contrast to the white walls and large windows that flood the space with natural light. Touches of yellow, green and oak were introduced to add soft, natural tones for warmth.
