Professional services firm Azets Ireland, formerly Baker Tilly Ireland, needed to find a space that could accommodate their growing team, with plans to quadruple their workforce over the next three years. The firm engaged with Calibro to complete several test fits as they viewed different spaces, to assess the suitability for their current team and ways of working, with an eye for future growth plans.

The team had long outgrown their current office and could no longer accommodate their full team, making bringing everyone together and facilitating learning and development for younger team members a challenge.

Following the acquisition of Baker Tilly, it was important that the new space made a bold brand statement as it represents Azets’ first foray into the Irish market.

After the test fit process, we worked through the design stage to maximise the use of the new space, adding in several meeting rooms, extending the breakout space to accommodate up to 40 staff and creating a reception area to greet clients.

The project included a M&E package which was coordinated within our interior fitout programme. Including a reconfiguration of existing duct work and fan coil units to provide separate heating and cooling to new meeting spaces, reconfiguration of power and data supply, existing floor boxes and supply and install of additional power and data to suit the new layout.

New furniture was introduced to the breakout space to provide comfortable seating and multiple settings for staff to choose from when they step away from their workstations.

The office move has been a great success. The Azets team are now able to come together, collaborate, learn from each other and grab a bite to eat in a comfortable space.
