Forsa Limerick Project Progress Report
As the construction phase of the Forsa Limerick project continues to make excellent progress, we are introducing a bi-weekly project progress report to keep you up-to-date on works continuing on-site.
Update 06 – 30/09/2022
Exterior ground works are ongoing, including paving and preparation for tarmac. Internal works are making excellent progress, with all internal partitioning completed, and raised access floor installed on the 2nd floor. The mechanical and electrical installation is nearing completion, along with the HVAC systems.
KEY NEXT STEPS:
- Install raised access floor to ground
- Plaster boarding completed in common areas
- Lighting installations
- Common area WC tiling to continue
- IPS panels to be installed
- 2nd fix plumbing and decorations to continue
Update 05 – 08/07/2022
The steel structure to the canopy was completed along with the gutters. Excavation and installation of storm drainage has begun along with first fixing of toilet areas. Installation of internal partitioning and insulation is ongoing.
KEY NEXT STEPS:
- Installation of liquid waterproof membrane to lift shaft
- Foyer floor poured
- East and west gable windows installed
- Foul and ESB ducting inside boundary completed
- Lower ground level to rear boundary wall
Update 04 – 24/06/2022
This week saw the near completion of the exterior rendering, along with the Zinc installation to the dormer completed. The lift installation was completed along with the screed to the 1st and 2nd floors.
KEY NEXT STEPS:
- Finish exterior render
- Install steelwork for canopy
- Commencement of ESB cable trench and roadworks
- Continue with M&E and HVAC
- Commence storm drains
Update 03 – 14/06/2022
This week, preparation for the external render was completed, along with preparation made for the Zinc installations. The slate roof is now also complete and internal partitioning and wall lining are ongoing
KEY NEXT STEPS:
- Form and finish screeds to 1st and 2nd floors
- Installation of aluminium gutters
- Commence Mechanical & Electrical work
- Install columns to support canopy
- Complete lift installation
- Remove scaffolding
Update 02 – 17/05/2022
This week saw progress made on the buildings exterior, with the slate roof nearing completion, 1st phase of windows and doors installed, and external ground works beginning
KEY NEXT STEPS:
- Preparation for external render
- Continuation of cement board installations
- Commencement of internal partitioning and wall lining
- Commencement of internal electrical installation
- Commencement on HVAC system
- Completion of roof slating
Update 01 – 29/04/2022
This week saw excellent progress made, with the installation of the roof trusses and slates beginning, moving the project one step closer to becoming airtight.
KEY NEXT STEPS:
- Continuation of carpentry work for roof, fascia’s and flat roof dormer construction
- Completion of ring beam
- Continue existing mass filled concrete wall stitching
- Preparation for 2nd floor canopy sections for zinc installation
