We are delighted to be delivering the office design and fitout on behalf of MCS Group, professional recruitment consultancy, in view of their upcoming move into The Ewart, Belfast.

Occupying 11,500 sq.ft. on the 10th Floor, the move to The Ewart will see the firm, that now employs 83 people in Northern Ireland and the US, double its office size, paving the way for the future growth of the business.

Commenting on the early engagement with MCS, Ronnie Crawford, Managing Director of Calibro, said: “Having worked closely with MCS Group over the last 5 years, it is a privilege to once again play our part in the ongoing growth and success of MCS Group, helping create a destination workspace that sets the platform for their next stage of growth.

Despite supporting them through many design tweaks to maximise capacity in their existing office, it became clear to Calibro that their existing office would struggle to support their growth plans beyond their lease break in 2023.

Through early staff-engagement, we quickly knew approximately what space they required to support their goals for the next 10 years. Once we collated all the data and knew the space requirements, Barry and Louise went out to the property market to see what was available and then relied on Calibro to support them on site-walks and test-fit designs to narrow down their options.

It became clear that The Ewart was the property that would best support MCS’ journey and make the best statement in this critical move on the journey of this company.

Having developed the design and now moving towards completion of the project on-site, we are looking forward to seeing months of thoughtful design and quality craftmanship come together.”
